CODE of CONDUCT:
The members of San Diego Indymedia are committed to social justice and a world free of hierarchy and domination. We recognize our ability to empower and disempower ourselves and others. We seek to subvert oppressive behaviors arising from unequal power structures. These may manifest themselves, singularly and simultaneously, along the lines of race, class, gender, sexual orientation, faith, age, and ability.
We will strive to create a positive environment and treat each other with respect and dignity. To this end we will refrain from endangering, intimidating, verbally or physically harming any member of the group. We will refer to our conflict resolution policy in the event of violations, concerns, or grievances.
We will apply these guidelines to interactions with each other and as representatives in the community.

Please Don't Feed the Trolls
Wikipedia defines an Internet Troll as: "either a person who sends messages on the Internet hoping to entice other users into angry or fruitless responses, or a message sent by such a person." San Diego IMC strives to provide both a grassroots media resource as well as a forum for people to contribute to a meaningful discussion about local issues. Please, when posting comments, be respectful of others and ignore those trying to interrupt or discourage meaningful discourse. Thank you.
