At its best, 500 people. At its lowest, 200. A wonderful turnout for a military town. Something is changing here people. I saw faces and colors and costumes and creativity flood the streets, occupying the roads, dancing, singing, banging pots and pans, breakdancing, chanting, twirling, juggling, kissing. Pure madness, pure joy.

what thanks to who? thats pure garbage insugent cladstine whatever whatever. i think credit should be given where its due, and frankly none is due there. were they the ones who first tried to get people into the streets before? no. it was a small group of people figuring if we get enough to take the plunge maybe the rest will follow. did they hijack the march multiple times? no. it was once again the same group of people trying to get people back to their friends who were being arrested because as other people would have it we should leave our friends behind. and did they lead the break away in front of ralphs. again no, nor were they the ones that were confronted by others screaming "you ruined this!"
just becaus eyou think your revolutionary and something out of the ordinary happend in SD, doesnt mean you being in the spotlight had anything to do with it.
your kidding right
Neither "onto" nor the one who posted the comment above understand the role that the Clandestine Insurgent Rebel Clown Army - Border Faction played in the January 20th RTS. They were much more involved in the groundwork and preparation for the event than you would ever suspect, commentator. And they were much less responsible for the activities of the crowd than you would ever suspect, onto. Both of you fail to distinguish a)the immense amount of planning and organizing that is needed to construct the conditions for spontaneity to arise, from b)the immense amount of unpredictability and uncontrollability that Reclaim the Streets consists of. These are two very different things. The former is necessary for the party to aggregate and cohere in the first place, and the latter is necessary for the party to mobilize and erupt in the second place. Without CIRCA-BF or the amazing creative energy of the vast amounts of the people there, it would have been a complete failure.
(And by the way, we did exactly all of those things you mentioned. We don't wear costumes. We don't stick out. We don't manage anything. We don't speak on bulhorns. We are quiet, invisible soldiers of the night. We were probably standing next to you. In fact, you're probably our friend.)
