a surprise visit by "bush" himself, recounting how fun that flightsuit was...

ah yes - and the protest warriors were there too... all 10 of them.
ah yes - and the protest warriors were there too... all 10 of them.

the marches converged in balboa park, and a rally was held on 6th and laurel well into the afternoon. speakers spoke passionately about the many reasons we should not be in iraq, about how much money has been misspent. one speaker even connected new orleans and the slow response to katrina with the war saying "racism is more than just the n-word", referring the money and the emergency response people we need here at home. most marchers set up camp in front of the stage or milled around the dozen or so information tables representing human rights organizations in the area. circling the outskirts were about 20 police officers, although their focus seemed to be more about protecting the 10 protest warriors set up across the street. aside from a few insults tossed back and forth, the "warriors" were largely ignored.

as a side note here is a strange exchange i heard while taking photos of the protest warriors (pw) speaking to an anti-war protester (a-w p):

pw: "see this? this is proof that the bin laudins are connected to nazis." (while handing the anti-war protester a sheet of paper)

the a-w p incredulously replies: "what?!"

pw: "they're tied to nazis. they're nazis! aren't you against nazis?!"

(((at which point i just walk away....)))

You're counting people at the end of the rally; there were 23 of us.

The least you could do it get it right if you're gonna attempt to talk smack about SDPW.

Chump.

...the info contained in the flyer I was passing out could be found here:

and here:

There was also a picture of Hamas members extending their right hands in Nazi salute, but I lost the link to it. If you want to see it, post your e-mail here or tell me how to upload a .jpg file here, and I will be glad to do that.
As for the exchange described in the article, it was probably hard for the author to hear it exactly, if he was not close enough. I don't recall any exchange similar to the one described, but it could certainly have taken place. One thing for sure: I would never use Bin Laden's name in plural. I might have said "palestinians", and from a distance coupled with my accent it might have sounded as "bin ladens".
But I do know my answer. You do support the Nazis. You on the Left are nothing more than a bunch of anti-Semites and Nazi sympathizers pretending to be liberals. It is time someone told it to your collective face. And if you say that there are Jews among you, those Jews on the Left were previously known as Judenrat members and kapos.
Now you can show your tolerance for discent by removing or disallowing my post here.
Here is a parting link for you:

Really awesome. Outstanding job. Nice angles. Good perspectives. Thinking outside the box-type stuff.

Bush is no nazi! What a relief! Except that the Bush clan is notorious for making millions hobnobbing and doing business with nazis
