Dont bring children to dangerious protests

23.07.2006 18:08

I was at the JCC protest this afternoon. I was shocked to see the anti-zionist side had brought several children. These children were needlessly exposed to hours of obscene language, racial taunts and threatening behavior. Not to mention the pro-Palestinian side was massively out numbered.
This is not a safe enviroment for children not until today was I aware of how vicious, racist and dangerious israelis can be, along with American zionist's and NO ONE should for ANY reason expose children to such dangerious vicious people.

children
children children two
children two Any thing else
Any thing else

This was a stupid over react where the children are subject to terror, look if you are really behind Israel you must back peace efforts and not condone disproportionate violence, they even attacked Christian areas! Furthermore; there is no excuse for this, God, adults are acting like kids but innocent people are paying the price for pointless acts and setbacks. Why should the U.S. back them and pay the price, 60 more people died in Iraq over the weekend?

They followed me home.

23.07.2006 20:36

I was at the rally, as I left two men speaking hebrew walked behind me.
Then when I drove home 2 cars followed and in traffic I recognized one of them as he was filming with a camera. He was in a silver saab. They followed me until I parked in a vons parking lot. Seriously these were israeli's.

Aside from that this was a very scary rally, the police were well behaved but the Pro Israel side was taunting like KKK members, making jokes that those from palestine looked like mexicans and may have been at the "beaner" protest as well. This is a stain on this great nations history to be supplying sick people like that with dangerious weapons. We should provide them therapy not weapons.

The tide is turning, people are beginig to realize the truth about the licence to kill called the talmud. These are former communists with the greatest genocide in human histoies blood on their hands and they are hungry for more. Look up the names of the communist responsible for the holocaust in Russia and the Ukrain. You'll find them again here: jewishvirtuallibrary.org.

As well as the 'Oliqarks" in russia, look their names up in "the forward" they all have passports from occupied palestine. These are very sick and dangerious people. Thank god the police were able to protect those opposed to genicidal racist.

Call The F.B.I.

23.07.2006 23:14

I would call the F.B.I and report this, a plate number would help! If they are really Israeli, which has been the case before(when the mossad were busted posing as art students to gather information,) and it really pissed off C.I.A. when they operated here. Only we are allowed to operate here! So be sure it is not F.B.I. or something other U.S. org. are you Arab or Islamic American? Yeah, this won't fly, they can't do that to you unless you are some kind of threat! www.bdogmania.com a watchdog for peace and justice !!
100 Israeli soldiers hostages would not merit the destruction of Lebanon, and Our government now has committed another error in their string of errors, from Iraq to the handling of Katrina by not calling for immediate ceasefire ten days ago, what kind of message are we sending the world, at least they know the American People are good, and it's just cowboy who doesn't understand life or being Christian.

Still scared

24.07.2006 01:16

This is not a joke. Cowboy's I think applie, and no I'm not arab, my grand parents were quakers from york pennsylvania. I talked to a freind whom informed me of a group called "campuswatch.org" Who get a hold of the licence plates of those who are in contradiction with Israel's policies.
I can't say who I am or what I do because of them and others like them.
The point is I should'nt have to contact FBI, HSO or anyone for being in the wrong place at the wrong time nor should I be followed.
This is unhealthy.
Please consider that verint corporation (converse infosys) is owned by the israeli goverment. I dont think I should be calling anyone. I was there to write. Seldom does one see a small handful steadfastly stand against hundreds, hundreds who control the game. Courage was not a big enough word for what I saw today.
I don't want this to destroy my life I was only there to watch the few stand against those who are now the dominant power in the world.

More observations about the Rally

24.07.2006 11:47

I attended the entire rally yesterday at the Jewish Community Center in La Jolla. The gathering was extremely contentious. I was afraid to walk to my car alone. Thanks, Bob, for the escort!

Several hundred Israel supporters showed up for a "Israel Solidarity Rally 2006."

That alone is provocative, to show public support for the war crimes now being committed against Lebanon and Palestine. There were youth and elders, Hasidic Jews, and mostly middle-aged supporters of Israel waving flags and telling us to F*ck off, to go back to Al-Queda, that we should be grateful for Israel's help in Palestine, ridding the occupied territories of malaria and the trash disposal problem.

Most of the people went inside for the rally, while a few stragglers stood and jeered. We were fifty strong, waving the flags of Lebanon, Palestine, and Iraq. Our signs read, Israel: Failed Terrorist State. IDF Bombs: Your tax dollars at work, etc (IDF: Israeli Defense Force)

I'm sorry there are no pictures - we all rushed over there at the last minute when we heard there were people who dared show support for Israel's obliteration of Lebanon under the guise of fighting Hesbollah. They took plenty of pictures of us, and also followed several people as they left the venue. The bloodlust of extremists in Israel and the ties they have to the U.S. cannot be underestimated.

We stood strong despite the hatred, and we will again and again until the slaughter is over.

See you downtown Thursday during the day and at the teach-in Thursday eve.

LONG LIVE PALESTINE! CEASE-FIRE NOW! RELEASE the HAMAS LEGISLATORS Israel kidnapped!! LONG LIVE THE PEOPLE OF LEBANON!

Beware racist Zionist thug stalkers

24.07.2006 14:31

There's a belief by some people in the Bay Area that an assault committed on an activist at a "jailhouse solidarity" party following a pro-Palistinian protest in SF (Israel in the ballpark) was organized by some Jewish Defense League (JDL) members who may also have ties with OTO (Order Templi Orientalis). Protesters were photographed by several passing cars, so facial recognition of pro-Palestinian protesters was available for police, thugs, etc..

The assault landed a pro-Palestinian protester in the hospital with fractured jaw and broken teeth, though the police who arrived at the scene in Berkeley told the thugs who assaulted protester to go home and proceeded to further antagonize the victim of the assault, threatening to charge the house with "disturbing the peace" despite the fact that we were attacked by roving thugs..

This theory was dismissed by many because random assaults occur frequently in that part of Berkeley. However, car accidents also occur frequently on the freeways of the US, though when accidents disproportionately affect activists there could be a pattern behind the accidents. Same goes for random assaults on activists..

The JDL initially was formed to protect Jewish people from racist attacks, though in the recent years the JDL has morphed into a vigilante gang of thugs who follows and threatens pro-Palestinian, pro-Muslim activists with violence. The actions taken by the JDL are another form of Zionist racial supremecy that has the support and backing of US government agencies like FBI, CIA, Homeland Security, etc..

In that sense the JDL fits the profile of other ethnic based hate groups like Aryan Nations, Minutemen, SOS, etc.. who seek to divide the working class against one another based on ethnic/language/religious differences. Maybe the "watchdog" group Southern Poverty Law Center should be fair and non-discriminatory and add the JDL to their list of ethnic hate groups..

eye on the JDL

Both sides need to take a breath

26.07.2006 20:19

reading this article and its various responses has reinforced my belief that we need to get discourse on this war away from the extremes (both left and right) and back to the middle. Only in the middle can we make progress and fulfill a lasting peace in any situation. Both extremes miserably fail to understand the other side's perspective, and insterad resort to too much name calling. It is important to see how the real victims of this whole situation are innocent civilans caught in the middle of a war. Blaming everything on one side is just plain stupid, no matter who you are. Portraying Israelis and 'Zionists' as evil is just as stupid as labeling Arabs as prone to violence and terrorism. You all should take a step back and look at solutions for peace instead of playing the blame game. Every action has a reaction and if you start that process you'll wind up talking about who did what to who 2000 years ago. Dont you think Opening up some sort of dialogue with this pro-israel group would be a little more effective than just provoking their already hightened paranoia.

call me crazy, but its just a thought

To the webmaster/controller of this site:

Please email me at  dmdude7@yahoo.com and tell my why my comment was deleted. It did not contain any obscene or offensive language, but merely criticized this website in an objective and professional manner.

If this website does not promote an open forum of discussion then what is its point? The congregation of sensationalized, one sided arguments of people who all see the world in one way? If this is the case, then this website is the problem. Censorship and the rejection of differing opinion is a curse and degrades the universal initiative of peace.

I am willing to discuss this incident and the conflict with anyone in a tasteful manner.

Once aain, please email me if you do not agree with what I say, or an explanation of why my comment was deleted.
