Democratic Presidential Candidates/"Values"
transcribed by Mark Gabrish Conlan,
Transcript of excerpts from the Democratic Presidential candidates' debate in Los Angeles, February 26, 2004. The candidates discuss the same-sex marriage issue, the whole question of "values," and (particularly Al Sharpton) the interplay between economic class and discrimination based on race, gender, national origin and sexual orientation. The transcript is also notable for the sheer rudeness of the corporate media people questioning the candidates.

FREE Health Care For All= End $30 mil CEOs
ben frank,
We can end the system... everyone is sick of 'the system' of health insurance, paying hundreds/month then you need it and you pay a couple thousand deductible... then the insurance companies have 'an arangement' with the hospitals where they pay only half of what you'd have to pay alone. We can end this System FOR Profit Now.

Kucinich is The One
ben frank,
Kerry and Edwards say they're the best alternative to bush. Forget the yadda yadda politicianspeak- look at this one simple fact. We all know the drug war is criminally stupid. You do know that don't you? $30,000 an inmate/yr while we pay welfare-to-work Moms $15,000 for full-time work. Prisons for profit, inmates working, the cheapest labor... This is insane!
Edwards and Kerry will continue this disaster Kucinich will end it. It's Time America.

"Free" Radio San Diego?
Arnold ,
...there is a very dark side to FRSD 96.9FM that a lot of people don't understand. Only people who are involved (older volunteers) know what fucked up things go on behind closed doors. The community is blocked out of the process and information is kept secret, if at all.

Kucinich: the most unreported story of 2004
Tim Wheeler,
http://www.pww.org/article/articleview/4838/1/204/
WASHINGTON – The most underreported story of the 2004 election is the never-give-up, never-give-in campaign of Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) for president. With considerable grassroots support, the Ohio lawmaker has carried his message of world peace, jobs, equality and universal health care across the country. He has done it in the face of a near-total corporate media blackout
