Santee -- More than forty enthusiastic participants (young and old) gathered early Saturday morning to hike in the “Link Mission Trails - Santee Lakes - Sycamore Preserve” field trip through Sycamore Canyon. Children were most entertained by coyotes, snakes, hawks and caterpillars. All were impressed by the majesty of the Coast live oak forest and the tranquility of Sycamore Canyon.
