On the corner of Broad and Walnut in Center City, Philadelphia, August 10, 2002, more than 25 MOVE members and supporters (including several visiting from Spain) gathered for a demonstration to commemorate August 8, 1978. On this day, 24 years ago, more than 500 heavily armed police officers attacked MOVE headquarters in the Powelton Village neighborhood of West Philadelphia. When the MOVE family fled into the basement to avoid the attack, police countered by flooding them out and imprisoning the MOVE 9 for the murder of Police officer James Ramp.

According to Maggiore, HIV-positive pregnant women who insist on breast-feeding their babies or refuse either to take highly toxic antiviral chemotherapies in the latter stages of pregnancy or to give them to their babies after birth find out very quickly that there are no choices: you are to follow orders or you are to lose your children.

Scovill discusses his difficulties making a film that would be fair to both sides of the HIV/AIDS model; the ways in which mainstream scientists who believe in HIV as the cause of AIDS made his job difficult by attacking the dissident view and its adherents instead of rationally defending the mainstream; and the vast difference between what weve been told about the African AIDS crisis and what he saw and heard when he was there.

For months two non-profit groups have come together sowing seeds of ingenuity to raise funds and awareness of thier organizations. On Saturday, September 21st from 3 - 10 pm Bell Gardens Farm and the San Diego 4-H Youth Education Foundation will present Harvest 4Kids. The event will honor Taco Bell founder Glen Bell, Jr. for his contriubutions to the farm and 4-H's 100th year anniversary.
