The Hitler. Oops, I mean the Bush Doctrine
Lloyd Hart,
|
Recently the comparison was made that the tactics of the Bush regime were the same as Hitler's in the thirties. With the release of the so called Bush doctrine this week which should really be titled The American Global Primacy Plan, it should now be quite clear to our liberal friends in congress that the Fourth Reich has finally risen.

Destroy Plants or Else, Feds Warn Medical Cannabis Activist McWilliams
Mark Gabrish Conlan/Zenger's Newsmagazine,
|
On Thursday, September 19, two days after he led a medical marijuana demonstration in the Community Concourse near San Diego City Hall, medical cannabis/marijuana activist Steve McWilliams was accosted on the street by an agent from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and handed a letter demanding that he immediately destroy all marijuana plants in his possession or face arrest and prosecution by federal authorities. Feinstein-Wyden Bill To Sell-Out National Forests
Feinstein-Wyden,
|
The final Feinstein-Wyden bill authorizing a massive timber giveaway under the guise of "fuel reduction" in our national forests is in. While lying to her constituents that the proposed bill would only target non-native species for fuel reduction, her final draft allows for millions of acres of timber to be logged. Furthermore, it exempts such projects from environmental review and other requirements specified in the National Environmental Policy Act. By terrorizing the public with overblown fears of wildfire, our county's last public forests are again at risk. Protect our forests for our children's future: oppose Feinstein-Wyden's S.2708.

An Introduction to Dual Power Strategy
Brian / NHSS,
|
The great task of grassroots dual power is to seek out and create social spaces and fill them with liberatory institutions and relationships. Where there is room for us to act for ourselves, we form institutions conducive not only to catalyzing revolution, but also to the present conditions of a fulfilling life, including economic and political self-management to the greatest degree achievable. We seek not to seize power, but to seize opportunity vis a vis the exercise of our power.
