"The capitalist state never evolved beyond the level of handling people as cattle. It never reached the level of understanding that human rights are like serial parts of a big idea – protecting them for one is difficult, but for a huge population it gets easy. [...] This is an asymmetric conflict because the subject matter is so, not because of our choice. Asymmetry means that the wise person will think about how it would feel to be stupid once in a while, and may even perceive irony in finding it as it is, while the stupid person never desires to become wise because it imagines that it already was. The result thereof are the most brain-dead superficial emulations of what it will never be, always failing to the next significant detail of irregularity in thought behind the corner."
