Dear "Anonymous:"

I am one of the co-founders of Occupy Cafe. I appreciate your concerns about the movement being co-opted. This was one of the themes that emerged at the Occupy Wall Street "Unconference" I attended last Sunday. There was broad agreement that the movement needs to figure out how to trust and work with people and organizations that operate beyond the borders of local GAs. But exactly how to make that happen is still very much up in the air.

Our call with Peggy Holman was very well received. Dynamic conversations with people like her mixed with active occupiers, "passive" (for now) supporters and even critics/skeptics can be highly generative. Even if you are sitting on a sofa! Here is more information about what emerged: http://www.occupycafe.org/forum/topics/12-19-occupy-cafe-call-vital-conv...

And here is the "about" section of Occupy Cafe. Your comment suggests that we need to post more about who we are and what we intend. Thank you for that feedback! http://www.occupycafe.org/page/about-1

Sincerely,
Ben Roberts
