Socialist Worker Forum:
AIG, Obama, and the Fight for Economic Democracy

The giant bailout and huge bonuses for AIG CEOs are leaving millions in the U.S. with a sour taste in their mouth. Incompetent fat cats are being rewarded with our tax dollars while working people are being kicked out of their homes and jobs.

Our money is being spent, and many of us are angry that it's not being spent wisely. But how should it be spent? What would a progressive economic policy - one that would fight foreclosures, unemployment and poverty look like? Could it be workable and effective? And can the desire of working people for real democratic control over their economy be realized?

Join us for a discussion about these issues:
Thursday, April 30th
