As mandated by Chairman Omali Yeshitela and the African People’s Socialist Party, the African People's Solidarity Committee (APSC) and the Uhuru Solidarity Movement will conduct Marches for Reparations in cities all over the country to demand (and raise) REPARATIONS for slavery, colonialism, parasitic capitalism, and genocide.

In San Diego, the event will feature Chairman Omali Yeshitela of the African People's Socialist Party and Penny Hess, Chairwoman of the African People's Solidarity Committee as well as Kunde Mwamvita, mother of one of three black teens drowned by the Pinellas County Sheriffs.

Point # 4 of the National Black Political Agenda for Self-Determination ( states, “We demand reparations consistent with international norms regarding redress for crimes against humanity. This includes the enslavement, colonialism and apartheid from which we suffer up to today. The totality of the repair, according to international law, must include policies, programs, and projects that cease ongoing racial crimes, offer restitution and returns us to wholeness, provides compensation that allows for a quality standard of life and individual and collective wealth creation, ensures satisfaction that returns our dignity and achieves rehabilitation for the heart, mind, body and spirit injuries resulting from the centuries of trauma and abuse.”

The APSC and USM stand together in unwavering unity with this demand. The historical climate is perfect for this event. The line is drawn. There can be no social justice without reparations. This March will raise reparations from the white community and donations from others who are in unity with the demand for reparations to support Black Star Industries, the liberated economy of the African People's Socialist Party which is the basis for building a new economy to further the self-determination of African people worldwide.
