SD Peace & Dignity Journeys Spiritual Barrio Run at Chicano Park – 11/11/11

Eleven.
In addition to the three elevens this day held several other significances. One for instance was moments before the run started a neighborhood local and park patron asked why we were doing this Spiritual Run.
“For healing,” was the reply.
That response surprised him and his companions. His face revealed the many thoughts and the many other questions that answer conjured within all of them.

Runners and members of the Peace and Dignity Journeys family continue to recognize and value the commitment and support to all these Spiritual Runs. That question of why we plan Spiritual Runs from this community member simply prompts encouragement and more devotion to continue to go out into each community, to reach out to include all of them into this journey of Prayer and Healing. In that is the intention and fulfillment of the Peace and Dignity Journeys.
