GENERAL

The webpage consists of 5 major sections. At the top, you will find links to basic information about San Diego Indymedia, including how to contact us, a guide to volunteering, our Mission Statement, current projects we are working on, archives of old stories, our event calendar and guides to publishing on and viewing our website.

The right column (red) contains our open publishing newswire, which contains a list of stories that readers like you have uploaded to our site. The left column (red) contains links to other independent media centers worldwide and other forms of independent media in San Diego. This column also presents information about special events. Currently, it contains a list of stories published about the No Borders Camp (Nov 7-11).

The middle column is broken up into two parts. The top part (pink) contains breaking news, a list of events and sometimes special information. Currently, a list of links to stories published on San Diego Indymedia about the fires is presented. The bottom part (tan) contains noteworthy stories from the newswire or summaries of a number of newswire stories ("features").
